Interested in learning the art of block printing? Join us for our Block Printing Basics Workshop where you will have the opportunity to explore this traditional printmaking technique.

In this workshop, you will learn how to transfer an image onto a block, carve out your design, properly ink your surface and practice various printing techniques . We’ll discuss different types of carving blocks, tools and use a variety of paper with distinct texture. We’ll have lots of images at hand that you can use, but if you would like to bring something from home, remember to keep it simple and make sure it fits into the carving block (4” x 5 3/4”)
