Embossed Brass Ornaments

Embossed Brass Ornaments Workshop

Create stunning ornaments using the art of metal embossing while we enjoy Gluehwein and cookies to ring in the holiday season while we create!! This traditional craft has a long history across many cultures and involves hammering or pressing a design from the back of a metal sheet to create a raised, three-dimensional relief.

In this festive workshop, you'll learn the techniques of brass embossing and create your own beautiful holiday ornaments. You'll discover how to create both low relief and high relief designs, and learn which tools work best for different effects. Each participant receives a 12" x 8" brass tooling sheet—plenty of space to make multiple ornaments to decorate your tree, give as gifts, or treasure for years to come.

We'll have lots of holiday-themed templates on hand to inspire your designs, but if you have a specific design in mind, feel free to bring your own pre-printed template or draw them up in class.

Whether you're crafting ornaments for yourself or creating handmade gifts, you'll leave with unique pieces that capture the timeless beauty of metalwork. All skill levels welcome—no experience necessary!
