Zine and Be Seen is a casual DIY creative session where your creativity is the guide! All ages and skill levels are welcome, this is very beginner friendly. During your time, you will learn how to turn a basic piece of paper into a classic 8 page mini-zine. What's a zine? A zine is a DIY booklet about anything you want. It could be full of writing, art, a mini junk journal, an info dump, a collaborative effort between pals. I mean, literally, it is anything you want it to be. Skim through the Zine and Be Seen library for inspriation or to try your hand at different zine folding methods. The basics are provided (paper, scissors, glue, writing/coloring pens & pencils, magazines, etc.), but you are welcome and encouraged to bring any extra materials you might like to use. $5-10 suggested donation, no one turned away for lack of funds.
