You are invited to join a community conversation about 'what's possible' when a grocery store becomes a vehicle for positive change and community development. Hosted by Cultivate Community Food Co-op and The Exchange, the evening will feature a 20-minute documentary celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Kootenay Food Co-op in Nelson, British Columbia, which relates its journey from small buying club to a thriving, community-owned hub focused on local food, sustainability and community resilience.
As we continue working to bring Cultivate Community Food Co-op to life, we are inspired by stories like this and the possibilities they represent for our own community. Whether you are simply curious or ready to become more involved, we invite you to be a part of something meaningful, to help shape this growing movement together.
