Marigolds are the flower of the season, and for good reason. Their bright color and scent has significance across many cultures and traditions. They also happen to look fantastic draped across a mantel, doorway, or ofrenda!
In this relaxed workshop, you'll learn how to turn florist's crepe paper into full, ruffly marigolds to string into a garland with twine and wooden beads. Mix and match from several shades of orange, from soft apricot to deep burnt orange, and build something bold, subtle, or somewhere in between. Whether you're honoring loved ones for Día de Muertos or adding some warmth to your Halloween decor, you'll head home with a garland you made yourself and a new skill you can keep using year after year.
